When designing the new flagship branch of KentBank in Zagreb, we focused on understanding both the Turkish and Croatian ways of building and nurturing business relationships.
The result is a concept that encourages face-to-face banking and adds a human touch to the traditionally cold, bureaucratic banking system. Thus, KentBank becomes a club that enables entrepreneurs and SMEs to develop their businesses, track their finances (whether private or professional), receive support in launching their start-ups, and broaden their business horizons. This innovative business club concept is realised through a series of formal or informal meeting rooms, as well as lounge areas occasionally dedicated to networking events and business meetups.
The space is functionally and clearly divided into three different zones that cater to diverse client needs. Those who require quick transactions or information will enter at the street level and enjoy a seamless experience with minimal personal interaction. In other words, the ground floor is dedicated to the highly efficient and quick banking of the future, tailored to the fast-paced way of life. Other clients, with arranged meetings with private bankers, are welcomed by a concierge and guided to the more secluded area on the first floor.
Finally, the second floor is designed as a flexible, multi-purpose environment that can be used for private meetings with long-term clients or for various educational and networking events.
